Palo Blanco Flamenco Jazz Project
A Journey Through Flamenco, Jazz, and Afro-Peruvian Rhythms

Discover the vibrant fusion of Flamenco and Jazz with Afro-Peruvian soul in the Palo Blanco Flamenco Jazz Project. Led by the innovative Chilean percussionist and composer Pablo Sáez, this project brings together a stellar lineup of world-class musicians to craft an unforgettable evening of rhythmic mastery and melodic wonder.
Legend has it that the Peruvian Cajón became a staple of Flamenco music after Paco de Lucía’s transformative journey to Peru in the 1970s. Now, almost half a century later, Palo Blanco revives this cultural dialogue, blending the Flamenco guitar’s passion with the Afro-Peruvian flute’s soul and the contemporary edge of jazz.

Featuring:
Pablo Sáez: Cajón, Percussion
Daniel de Alcalá: Flamenco Guitar
Daniel Manrique-Smith: Flute & Effects
Tibor Szücs “El Tiburón”: Electric Bass & Guitar
